Edward White Hospital Welcomes New Chief Nursing Officer Patricia Willie

St. Petersburg, FL - Edward White Hospital has appointed Mrs. Patricia (Pat) Willie to be its new Chief Nursing Officer.
“We are very pleased to welcome Pat to the Ed White team,” said hospital President and Chief Executive Officer, Roland Metivier “We are fortunate to have someone with her background and experience in this key leadership position and I look forward to working with her as we continue our focus on providing excellent quality care to the residents of Pinellas County.”
In her new role, Willie is responsible for the overall direction of nursing services, the provision of clinical care and program direction for the department of nursing in collaboration with physician and healthcare leaders.
With more than 20 years of progressive administrative and leadership experience in nursing, Pat comes from the Medical City Dallas Hospital in Texas, where she served as the Associate Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to her selection into the HCA Executive Development Program in 2009, Pat served as Interim CNO and Vice President of Nursing and Cardiovascular Services at Medical Center of McKinney in McKinney, Texas. She has both a Masters and Bachelors Degree of Science in Nursing, and her honors include being named a “Health Care Hero” by the “Dallas Business Journal” in 2008, as well as being selected as one of the “Great 100 Nurse Executives” by the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council also in 2008. Pat is married to Jeffrey, with two adult daughters.
